Welcome to V6conversion.com

What is V6Conversion.com? Well this is a site dedicated to the V6 performance car drivers out there dying to drop a V8 into their car. During the summer of 2000 I purchased a used 1994 3.4L V6 Firebird. I feel that the time has now come to reach maximum performance. Back in November of 2001 I purchased an LT1 with a trans and since I have been buying parts to make the swap work. For a complete list of parts I bought click on my parts list link. I personally feel that a swap like this can really be worth it. After I finally decided that this engine swap is something I really wanted to do, I figured I was in for a lot of work. With that in mind I created V6Conversion.com to lower that work load for anyone else that would like to try this. The purpose of this site is to show you exactly what will be involved, what you will need, and what the finished project will look like.. I am trying to be as detailed as I possibly can when going through step by step what I am doing and what is going on. My mail box is also open all the time for questions anyone might have about an engine swap like this.

Back in action 10/03/05

I decided to start updating this web site to let everyone know what is going on with my car these days. It's still alive and running pretty well. I even took a little joy ride in it this afternoon. (This was just a test to see what it will look like with this camara I bought. I plan on using it at the track to show you some track action)

Thanks to Dustin Murphy, we have step by step instructions on how to make your own Ram Air. This is a pretty sweet process, I am going to do this as well. Click Here to see instructions.
